丙辰中秋，欢饮达旦，大醉，作此篇，兼怀子由。
明月几时有？把酒问青天。不知天上宫阙，今夕是何年。我欲乘风归去，又恐琼楼玉宇，高处不胜寒。起舞弄清影，何似在人间。转朱阁，低绮户，照无眠。不应有恨，何事长向别时圆？人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全。但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。教育部组织编写，温儒敏总主编《义务教育教科书语文》九年级上册第3单元第13课。北京：人民教育出版社，2018年
苏轼（1037年—1101年），字子瞻、和仲，号铁冠道人、东坡居士，世称苏东坡、苏仙，眉州眉山（今四川省眉山市）人，北宋文学家、书画家、唐宋八大家之一。作品有《东坡七集》《东坡易传》等。SU Shi(1037-1101), styled Looker and Seer, East Slope Buddhist and Iron Crown Wordist by literary names, known as East Slope Su and Immortal Su. The poet, a native of Mt. Mei, Meizhou (present-day Mt. Mei, Sichuan Province), was a litterateur and calligrapher in the Northern Song dynasty, and was honored as one of the “Eight Great Litterateurs of the Tang and Song Dynasties”. His works include Seven Volumes by East Slope and East Slope’s Commentary on I Ching.（彭雅卓译）

Tr. ZHAO YanchunOn Mid-Autumn Festival (the 15th day of the 8th moon), 1076，I drink till dawn and get fuddled. Writing this, I miss my brother Zi You.
How often does the bright moon appear?
Holding my cup, I ask the blue sky.
Tonight, I do not know, which year
It is in the palace on high?
I would go above, riding the air;
In the celestial castles there,
The cold, I’m afraid, I couldn’t bear.
To dance there with a cool shadow whirled
Is not better than this human world.
Thus turns around the moon glow,
From red roofs to my window,
And floods my sleepless sorrow.
Gainst man the moon should bear no spite.
Why, then, when people part is it round and bright?
People gather and part again,
The moon undergoes wax and wane,
One can ne’er perfection attain.
How I wish man could live for e’er
And share her fair light everywhere.
